I’ve been searching for the perfect, stylish winter quilt to replace the drab fleece blankets that I cozy up with on a cold San Francisco night. The basic fleece blankets are warm, but they have literally no personality (they’re brown and rust red) and look out of place in my colorful bedroom.
I’ve got neutral walls and a white down comforter with pops of color in the furniture and pillows. I took my inspiration from similar rooms.
There were so many choices, many of them quite pricey: Should I go Scandinavian? Tribal? Geometric? Here’s the inspiration. Sources for the inspiration in order: Anthropologie, Create and Barrel, and District 17.
Today, I found it. I was surfing Pinterest and I found a similar post by… where she featured these ikat quilts on sale on Myhabit starting at $68, and I knew this was it. I chose the turquoise green one in the bottom lefthand corner. The sale is on through Sunday, November 17th. What are your good quilt sources? Write in the comments below.
